He is a six-year veteran of the publishing industry, having worked at a small, independent New York publishing company that specialized in software development books. In that time span, he not only performed editorial tasks such as manuscript review and copy-editing, he was also responsible for marketing tasks such as

Nuno graduated Cum Laude from New York University with a double major in Journalism and Africana Studies. Along with being a New York University Honors Scholar, he is a member of the Kappa Tau Alpha National Journalism Honor Society and the recipient of the Manuel de Dios Unañue Award for Excellence in Journalism.
